Dishtrict works because people share honest, useful takes on food. These guidelines keep it that way. Breaking them can get content removed or an account suspended.
Rate dishes you've actually tried, and score them for real. Don't post fake reviews, inflate a spot you're tied to, or trash a competitor.
A 10 should be rare. To stop score-stuffing and keep everyone's ratings trustworthy, the very high end of the scale has a gentle monthly budget — 5 tens, 15 ratings of 9.5 or above, and 50of 9.0 or above (a 10 counts toward all three). It refills on the 1st of each month. It's an anti-abuse safeguard, not a cap on how much you rate — you'll only notice it if you're about to run out, and the rest of the scale (below 9.0) is always unlimited.
No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate. Slurs and attacks based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability, or similar are not allowed — full stop.
Photos and posts should be about the dishes and the places that serve them. No nudity, graphic content, or spam.
Don't post other people's private information, and don't share someone's photos or content as your own.
Don't pretend to be someone else, and don't use Dishtrict to advertise, scam, or flood the app with repetitive content.
Every photo and video has a report button (⚑). If you see something that breaks these rules, flag it — reports are reviewed and bad content is removed. You can also reach us at dishtrict88@gmail.com.
We review reports and disputes, and our decision is final. Breaking these rules can get content removed or an account suspended or permanently deleted — and accounts used for spam, fake ratings, or abuse can be deleted without notice, with their content scrubbed and their IP address blocked. See our Terms for the full details.
